As a freelance graphic artist, I work for several companies including LooseId and Samhain Publishing. Whenever I'm not doodling away in a sketch book or chained to the PC, I spend too much time reading yaoi and watching anime. I'm also a writer with a passion for gay romance. My solo books Pawprints and On Wings of Blue are on sale now, and I have a whole library of m/m novels co-authored with Barbara Sheridan over at Dragonsdisciple.com. About Art Commissions
Basic Info
I'm generally open to taking commissions for original artwork or design projects, but I need plenty of time to get them done. With my schedule as hectic as it is, I give priority to folks who absolutely *need* to have something done by a certain deadline. Example: "Oh-my-God-I-need-500-postcards-for-RT-next-week!"
Restrictions
None, really. The only areas I stay away from are politics and religion, but aside from that, please feel free to approach me with any project.
Serious Clients Only, Please
This has been happening a lot recently: someone finds my LJ or DA page and contacts me about an art commission for "a friend's birthday" or whatnot. I write back with details about the time frame and cost, then they disappear from the face of the planet. *g* Artwork is a very involved and time consuming endeavor--it doesn't come easily, or inexpensively. Please keep that in mind with *any* artist you approach for a commission.
Services & Price Range
I provide services as both an illustrator and designer. Rates vary depending on the project, but below is a range:
Design projects (advertisements, bookmarks, postcards, book layouts, web banners, etc.): $25/hr
Black & White character sketches: $35-50
Original artwork (not for profit or merchandising): $65-80
Book Covers and Commercial Artwork: $100+ (project details required for final pricing)
