This weekend goes does as one of the best ever for me! I finally got to meet my writing partner and super friend Barb Sheridan in person! Did I take pictures, you ask? NO! Because I am STUPID!!! ARGH! Just for the record---she looked like quite the femme fatale in the Ume dress. ^__^!

On Friday, I had spoke at a couple of workshops--one for Cover Art, the other for Web Design. It went well, in that I actually spoke a few words without sounding like a total goof-ball. :P The awards banquet on Saturday was nice, but dissappointing when Barb's novel, Bittersweet Surrender lost the EPPIE for Best Historical Romance. Not that the other novels nominated weren't written by talented authors, but from the excerpts I've read, the stories themselves weren't that original. *shrugs*
